Ged Hull
Chartered Accountant
Ged’s main focus is to ensure that we and our clients have access to the most time-saving and efficient means of producing useful management information to assist our clients to grow. He has extensive experience of successfully implementing Xero and Quickbooks in a range of sectors. Ged now concentrates on using his detailed knowledge of his clients’ businesses to help them achieve their commercial and personal goals. In the time Ged saves by using modern technology, he plays five-a-side football, a poor game of golf and drinks real ale.
Clare Jady
Chartered Accountant
Clare has huge respect for small business owners and she strives to ensure they receive the best financial information and support so they feel confident about the business decisions they make. She has a particular specialism in accounting for companies in the construction sector and is also an expert in assisting charities, where her extensive experience means she can give some very practical advice. Outside work, she loves walking in the countryside with her dogs and encouraging wildlife into her garden. She shares three grown-up children with her husband, Ged.
Angela Hilton
Chartered Accountant
Angela is a qualified Chartered Accountant. She is especially knowledgeable in the construction industry and medical sector where her talent for giving sound and practical advice to our clients is valued by them. She loves to work at clients premises preparing management accounts for our clients and helping directors use the numbers to grow their businesses. A keen traveller, she is slowly working her way around the world.
Lindsey Longmate
Chartered Certified Accountant
Lindsey is a qualified Certified Accountant with years of experience of making sense of our clients’ accounts. She has developed longstanding and strong working relationships with our clients. She’s a real fan of the time-saving efficiencies of the digital technologies we use. As a mum to two, she is excellent at multi-tasking and her organisational skills are exceptional, so she’s the one who keeps our deadlines in check.
Rebecca Hitchen
Office Manager
Bec has been part of the team for some time and she has built some fantastic relationships with our clients and professional contacts. Giving a great service is high on her list of priorities. She goes above and beyond to put smiles on customers' faces. Bec loves Xero (she’s seen how much time it can save) and is our Xero Champion, so if you have any questions about Xero or its useful add-ons she’s on the end of the phone waiting to help.
Julie Fletcher
Payroll Manager
Julie heads up our payroll bureau and manages CIS and Auto-enrolment submissions for clients in Wigan and Bolton. She loves helping clients with payroll when they’ve struggled with it themselves and is always happy to advise on the ever-changing demands of HMRC. In her spare time, Julie follows Wigan Rugby League. She is a member of her local running club and also enjoys spending time with her family and dog.
Hannah Bolton
Accounts Clerk
Hannah has a degree in Accounting and Finance, is AAT qualified and is about to start studying towards her ACCA qualification. She especially enjoys the challenge and satisfaction of assisting our clients with their accounting systems and loves helping those of our clients who struggle to keep their bookkeeping records up to date. In her spare time Hannah enjoys going to the gym, helping people to lose weight in her role as a slimming world consultant and spends time with her family and friends.
Margaret O'Halloran
Accounts Clerk
Margaret likes to be challenged in her role assisting clients with accounts, VAT and tax returns. With her extensive experience, she can resolve any problems our clients might be having especially with book-keeping. She loves using Xero, especially the way she can see what our clients' records in real time. In her spare time, she follows F1 motorsports, falls off stunt scooters and goes out with her children on quad bikes.
Kirsty Hayes
Accounts Clerk
Kirsty joined us as a part-qualified Accounts Technician, and gained her AAT qualification with us. She is currently studying towards her Chartered Tax exams. Kirsty works from our Bolton office, where she is involved in preparing accounts, VAT and tax work for a wide range of businesses. She also operates the payroll bureau for our Bolton clients. In her spare time, she loves to travel and visits as many interesting places as she can.
Stefan Taylor
Accounts Clerk
Stefan joined the HullJady team in January 2019 with his AAT Qualification and extensive experience in preparing accounts, tax returns, VAT returns and all things accounting. He enjoys assisting clients from a diverse range of sectors and helping them to achieve their full potential. He is an expert in making R&D claims for some of his clients. In his spare time, Stefan enjoys spending quality time with his three boys.
Becky Meadows
Accounts Clerk
Becky is AAT qualified as well as holding a degree in accounting and has nearly completed her ACCA qualification. She has more than 11 years of experience working with a broad range of clients and is experienced in preparation of accounts, tax returns, VAT and payroll. Her favourite part of the role is working with clients to make sure they get the most out of the financial information that she provides. When she’s not at work, she enjoys caring for her horses, which leaves her little time for much else, though she enjoys spending time socialising.
June Cooke
Receptionist
June is our part-time receptionist at Wigan and loves to make our clients and visitors feel welcome. She’s had to contend with many changes over the years and has mastered the introduction of our paperless system as well as coping with the various administrative demands made of her by the rest of the team. With her family mostly living in Australia, she is an expert on overseas postage charges and face-timing!
Brian Clayton
Automatic Enrolment/Payroll/GDPR
Brian made quite a career change by joining us in a role assisting our clients to meet their responsibilities regarding Auto Enrolment and Payroll. He is also responsible for GDPR compliance within the firm. Prior to working with us, he worked in the legal field for more than twenty years where he developed two national teams advising on trade marks so he has plenty of experience in working out how to assist clients. He’s a proud supporter of Aston Villa.
Lucy Corrigan
Office Administrator
Lucy works within our admin department as Office Administrator and is also the face behind HullJady's social media accounts. She enjoys making sure all things admin run smoothly, including bookkeeping, credit control, filing changes at companies house and updating and maintaining quotations and client information. In her free time Lucy enjoys spending time with her family and friends, shopping and travelling to new places.
Rumaysa Hussain
Accounts Apprentice
Rumaysa is currently studying towards her AAT Qualification and is enjoying gaining experience with a variety of clients. With excellent computer skills, especially in Excel, she is a valuable member of the team in Bolton, where she carries out a book-keeping role for several clients as well as preparing accounts and VAT returns. Rumaysa enjoys supporting Manchester City and is a keen baker.
